Where this comes from.
Spiritual Land started as a sentence that would not go away: the sacred space for your true self. Then a question: what would it take for that to be a real place, with a gate and a kitchen and a river, rather than a feeling you get for a weekend and lose by Wednesday?
Who
Spiritual Land is started from the Netherlands, by people who have spent years around festivals, ceremonies, sound and land, and who kept noticing the same thing: the best moments happened on borrowed ground and ended when the rental did. It is not a company with a founder on a stage. It is a circle that is still small and intends to grow slowly, with the people who join it holding real pieces of it.
We are deliberately not publishing a team page with headshots. Not because there is anything to hide, but because the land should not become somebody’s brand. The people who hold the ten pillars will be known to the circle, in person, which is the only way that matters.
The family it belongs to
Spiritual Land is the physical member of a small family of projects. spiritual.mx is a directory of ceremonies, retreats, healers and practices in Mexico: the place to discover. festival.productions is the production platform on which gatherings are planned, budgeted and run: the engine. Spiritual Land is where it all lands: the place to live it.
That is also why the search for land is open across continents rather than tied to one country. The Netherlands is the home base; Mexico is where much of the ceremonial lineage the circle carries comes from. The land may be in either, or somewhere neither of us has been yet.
Where it is now
At the beginning. A circle of people, a manifest, ten pillars written out, a description of the land we are looking for, and a website that says all of it plainly so that Google, the people who use it, and the AI assistants they ask can find it and repeat it correctly. No land. No date. No tickets.
That is not a disclaimer, it is the honest state of things, and we would rather write it down than let anyone assume otherwise.
How to reach us
Write to hello@spiritual.land, or use the contact page. If you want to be part of it, join the circle. If you bring something specific, land most of all, the co-create page is the door.
