Sound bath
Lying down while a practitioner plays gongs, bowls and other instruments around you for thirty to sixty minutes; you do nothing.
Belongs to pillar 06: Frequencies
The word bath is right: you are immersed. You lie on the ground or a mat, eyes closed, and the practitioner plays: gongs, crystal and metal bowls, chimes, drums, sometimes voice. The sound comes from all sides and moves through the body as much as the ears. Most people go somewhere between waking and sleep. Some cry, some sleep, some see colours, some just feel their shoulders drop for the first time in a month.
What it reliably does is shift the nervous system toward rest: breathing slows, heart rate settles, the sense of time loosens. That is measurable and it is enough. The land does not claim that specific frequencies cure specific things. It lets people lie down and feel it.
On the land, sound baths happen at dawn and at night in the sound temple, outdoors when the weather allows, and are open to everyone including children, who are usually asleep within ten minutes.
